Doctors Foreign Employment Bureau will be set up

A Doctors Foreign Employment Bureau will be set up.

The aim of setting up of this bureau is to provide foreign jobs for Sri Lankan doctors and there by generate an income to the country.

The Ministries of Finance, Health, Foreign affairs and Higher education and the Foreign Employment Bureau will jointly launch this programme.

Secretary to the Government’s Medical Officers Association Anurudhdha Padeniya at a media briefing held in Colombo today said the proposal to set up a Doctors Foreign Employment Bureau was made by their association.
