A suicide bride

State intelligence has unearthed a subtle, astounding plan of the LTTE to kill the President using the bride as a suicide bomber while the President signs as a witness.

The plan was uncovered following several months of investigation on a police official who was attached to the Presidential security.
Official becomes rich instantly
Intelligence officials probed the police official being rich immediately and the change of his behavior. They found out that the fiancée of the official, who is a Tamil woman, spent excessively for him. Further investigations revealed that she was directly linked to LTTE.

The preliminary part of the plan was to initiate a romantic affair with the police officer and to prompt him to marry her. The police officer was expected to invite the President to participate in the wedding to be held in a high up hotel in Colombo as a witness in which the bride acts as a suicide bomber.
It is reported that the plan was prepared without any knowledge of the relevant officer.
